Dodgers, Cubs NLCS Game 1 starting lineups

October 15th, 2016

CHICAGO -- The Cubs stuck to the same lineup in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series (tonight on FS1, 8 p.m. ET/7CT/5PT) as they did in the NL Division Series, starting in left field and at second base to back up starter .
Baez started all four games at second base in the NLDS against the Giants, with Zobrist moving to the outfield.
Manager Joe Maddon kept in the No. 5 spot in the order, even though the 22-year-old shortstop went 1-for-15 in the NLDS.

The Dodgers, meanwhile, made two interesting lineup selections, beginning with a switch behind the plate. Veteran is starting and batting sixth instead of , who started all five games against the Nationals in the NLDS. The move certainly isn't because of Ruiz's history against Lester; he is hitless in 16 career plate appearances against the Cubs' starter.
, who wasn't on the Division Series roster, is starting at second and batting seventh.
The top five spots remain the same as L.A.'s Game 3 lineup in the Division Series against Nationals lefty , with leading off and playing left field.
