LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Landon Knack and optioned right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller.
Knack, 29, returns for his third stint with the club and has appeared in three games this year, allowing five runs in 7.2 innings. With Triple-A Oklahoma City, he went 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA in nine games (eight starts). He has been with the Dodgers three seasons, going 6-7 with a 4.24 ERA in 28 games (19 starts). He was drafted by the Dodgers in the second round of the 2020 First Year Player Draft out of East Tennessee State University.
Miller, 27, was recalled Monday and tossed 2.1 innings last night, allowing two runs on three hits. He has been in the Majors parts of four seasons with Los Angeles, posting a 14-8 record and a 5.43 ERA. He had a banner season in 2023, setting career marks in wins (11), starts (22), ERA (3.76), innings pitched (124.1), strikeouts (119) and WHIP (1.10). He was the Dodgers’ first round pick in 2020, selected 29th overall from the University of Louisville.
