Dodgers select Hill as Game 3 starter

Lefty's only other postseason experience was with Cubs in 2007

CHICAGO -- Left-hander is scheduled to start for the Dodgers in Tuesday night's Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Cubs at Dodger Stadium (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on FS1), manager Dave Roberts said before the Dodgers' 8-4 loss in Game 1 on Saturday night.
The Cubs will start right-hander , who pitched a no-hitter in his last game at Dodger Stadium,on Aug. 30, 2015.
Hill was the starting pitcher in Thursday night's epic NLDS clincher in Washington, lasting only 2 2/3 innings. He was removed with runners on the corners after allowing only one run. He was relieved by , who quashed the threat.

Pitching on short rest Thursday, Hill struck out six and didn't allow any extra-base hits.

Hill also started and lost Game 2 against Washington, allowing four runs in 4 1/3 innings, and striking out seven in the first three innings.
Hill's only postseason appearance prior to this year was with the Cubs in 2007.
Roberts said he was not ready to announce a Game 4 starter. Rookie is a likely candidate.
