Nobody likes to be on the wrong end of a walk-off celebration. But to do it the way the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers did on Sunday is extra painful. Although it was pretty painful for the winning team, too.

The Shuckers, Double-A affiliate of the Brewers, were leading the Pensacola Blue Wahoos -- the Marlins' Double-A club -- by two runs entering the bottom of the ninth inning at Blue Wahoos Stadium.

Then came an unbelievable finish, the likes of which you may never see again.

Right-hander Harold Chirino came on to try and close the game out for Biloxi. He got the first batter he faced, Troy Johnston, to ground to shortstop. But shortstop Cam Devanney lost his footing and made a wide throw to first base, enabling Johnston to reach safely. The next hitter, Griffin Conine, walked.

Then, inexplicably, each of the next four batters -- Luis Aviles Jr., Ray-Patrick Didder, Cobie Fletcher-Vance and Bubba Hollins -- were each hit by a pitch, with the pitch that hit Hollins forcing in the winning run for Pensacola in a 7-6 victory.

It was painful for everyone involved. But at least for the Wahoos, there was the salve of victory in the end. It was the third consecutive walk-off win for Pensacola, and the play-by-play announcer on the call, Erik Bremer, perhaps said it best:

"If you can find a stranger [walk-off win] in baseball, I would love to see it."
