
Just in time for Saturday’s National License Plate Day, fans can take their D-backs pride on the road with the team’s newest Specialty License Plate, featuring a sleek design in Sedona Red and Teal, turning everyday drives into impact and opportunities to support youth baseball and softball across Arizona.
Available now through the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division or in person at Motor Vehicle Division offices, the redesigned plate is a vehicle for change. For every plate purchased, $17 goes directly to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation to help fund baseball and softball equipment, programming and outreach initiatives for underserved youth statewide. Fans can purchase the standard specialty plate for an annual fee of $25, with an additional $25 option to personalize their plate with up to six custom characters.
The team’s License Plates have generated more than $3.3 million In the 20 years since launching in 2007 as Arizona’s first professional sports team to partner with the Arizona Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division. The program has supported impactful initiatives such as the Mike Kennedy “Diamonds Back” Field Building Program, D-backs Give Back Youth Jersey Program, D-backs Nike RBI, Fun At Bat, Baseball Academy Outreach Clinics and Girls Play Ball.
