Nicaragua's Emanuel Trujillo didn't have to wait long for his chance at redemption.
After striking out with the bases loaded to end the top of the fifth inning of a taut Pool D matchup against The Netherlands on Saturday, the 24-year-old Nicaragua native make a stupendous -- dare we say Jeter-esque -- catch to steal an out from the very next batter.
Red Sox star Ceddanne Rafaela led off the bottom of the fifth with a towering foul pop up down the first-base line. Trujillo sprinted back, tracking the ball over his shoulder before plucking it out of the air with his outstretched arm just before the ball reached the netting. His momentum carried him on, and he tumbled into the stands, somehow holding onto the ball for the out.
