Fan hit by foul ball at Progressive Field taken to hospital

CLEVELAND -- A fan struck by a line drive off the bat of Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy during the first inning of Tuesday night's 7-6 Indians win at Progressive Field was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

Martha West, 75, was sitting down the right-field line where she may have been had trouble seeing the ball due to the setting sun, according to the Associated Press. Her glasses were broken and she received a cut above her eye, a family member told the AP.
