Giants committed to resolving Spanish broadcast issue

July 15th, 2016

The Giants released a statement Friday regarding their Spanish radio broadcast partner, ESPN Deportes, which lost its rights to broadcast on 860AM in late June.
The club is in the process of finding a new frequency to broadcast games, and it said it is committed to providing Spanish broadcasts for Giants fans.
"Late last month, ESPN Deportes, our Spanish Radio Broadcast Partner, lost the rights to their signal on 860AM. While we had hoped to avoid any disruption in our Spanish radio schedule, the process of determining a new frequency for the broadcast has unfortunately taken longer than expected. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and we are working hard with ESPN Deportes to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.
"The San Francisco Giants remain committed to providing an outstanding Spanish language broadcast to our fans, and we appreciate their patience as we work to resolve this matter."
