The Minor League Baseball docuseries, hosted by MLB Pipeline's Jonathan Mayo, celebrates the unique vibe of Minor League cities and spotlights how the local baseball teams are woven into the fabric of the community. The show features in-depth looks at local culture, food, arts, and fan experiences alongside interviews with top prospects and community leaders.
Sunday's episode provides no shortage of fun, and we mean fun, as Mayo joins outfield prospect Nick Schnell and his family on a trip to the Strong National Museum of Play. Named in honor of Rochester native Margaret Woodbury Strong, The Strong -- as its referred to by locals -- is a highly interactive, collections-based museum devoted to the history and exploration of play.
Mayo then heads to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Rochester to meet up with infielders Yohandy Morales (WSH No. 28 prospect), Trey Lipscomb and Jackson Cluff to explore how the organization is playing a pivotal role in providing impactful programs for the youth throughout the community.

We've all worked up an appetite by this point, so as the sun sets Mayo makes his way to The Genesee Brewery -- one of the largest and oldest continually operating breweries in America -- where he breaks bread with SS J.T. Arruda, C C.J. Stubbs and RHPs Zach Brzykcy, Holden Powell and Seth Shuman.
The episode concludes with a trip to the historic Oak Hill Country Club where Mayo hits the links with Chase Solesky and his now fiancee, golf influencer Averee Dovsek (the couple got engaged in March). Oak Hill Country Club has hosted four PGA Championships, the Ryder Cup, three U.S. Opens, two U.S. Amateurs, the U.S. Senior Open, and two Senior PGA Championships, and its facilities are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This episode marks the end of "Grass Routes" new episodes for 2026, but stay tuned to find out if the Minor League Baseball docuseries will return for Season 3 in 2027.
