Rhys Hoskins has hit his share of home runs this season, but none have been bigger than the walk-off grand slam he hit Tuesday to lead Double-A Reading past Erie, 11-9.
The Fightin' Phils (30-15) loaded the bases in the ninth inning on a pair of walks and a single to set the stage for Hoskins, who blasted right-hander Paul Voelker's 1-0 offering over the wall in left-center field to win the game. The home run was the Phillies' No. 19 prospect's eighth in 42 games this season. He's hitting .263 with 30 runs scored and 30 RBIs on the season.

Dylan Cozens, No. 22 on the Phillies' Top 30, also had a big game for Reading as he hit his 12th home run and plated three runs as part of a 2-for-4 performance that also saw him tally his 14th double and score three times. The 21-year-old outfielder has improved his prospect stock this year against advanced competition in the Eastern League, hitting .281/.354/.581 with 36 RBIs in 44 games.
Meanwhile, No. 96 overall prospect Roman Quinn (Phillies' No. 7) reached base in each of his five plate appearances for Reading, going 4-for-4 with a walk and scoring four runs. The speedy center fielder also swiped a pair of bases to move into second on the Eastern League leaderboard with 21.
"Roman, to me, had a great night," Fightin Phils hitting coach Frank Cacciatore told MiLB.com. "He did what he does, and that's just take the game by control and make things happen for us. He put it all together."

JaCoby Jones, the Tigers' No. 8 prospect, homered for a second straight game for Erie (18-26) and later added a triple en route to finishing 2-for-4. The 24-year-old third baseman/outfielder opened the season on the restricted list while serving the remainder of his 50-game suspension after he tested positive for a drug of abuse last fall. Since being activated on May 17, he's collected two hits in five of his seven games for the Tigers. Overall, he's hitting .367 (11-for-30) with six extra-base hits and seven RBIs.

• No. 18 overall prospect Alex Bregman (Astros' No. 1) continued to roll in Double-A Corpus Christi's win against Arkansas, going 1-for-3 with his Texas League-leading 12th home run of the season. He's gone deep in back-to-back games for the Hooks and has five homers in his last 10 games. The 2015 No. 2 overall Draft pick is having a remarkable first full season, hitting a robust .320/.424/.680 with 32 RBIs, 31 runs scored and more walks (18) than strikeouts (12) in 32 games.

• No. 22 overall prospect Bradley Zimmer (Indians' No. 1) filled out the box score in Double-A Akron's win against Altoona, finishing 3-for-4 with his eighth home run, a triple, four RBIs and a stolen base. The 23-year-old outfielder has fared considerably better this season in his return to the Eastern League, posting a .912 OPS with 20 extra-base hits and 17 stolen bases over 39 games for the RubberDucks.

• No. 37 overall prospect Anthony Alford (Blue Jays' No. 1) connected on his first home run of the season and extended his hitting streak to eight games in Class A Advanced Dunedin's win over Lakeland. Alford began his season by hitting .106 (5-for-47) with zero extra-base hits in his first 13 games, but has settled in nicely during his streak, during which he's hitting .375 (12-for-32).
• No. 55 overall prospect Tyler Jay (Twins' No. 3) struck out a career-high eight batters in five innings for Class A Advanced Fort Myers in a loss to Palm Beach. The 2015 No. 6 overall pick yielded two earned runs on six hits and one walk, with 69 of his 96 pitches going for strikes in the outing. Though he scuffled during the first month of the season for the Miracle, Jay, 22, has pitched to a 1.11 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP with 27 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings (four starts) in May.
• No. 71 overall prospect Ian Happ (Cubs' No. 3) connected on his first home run since April 27 and went 3-for-6.

• Astros No. 27 prospect Matt Duffy powered Triple-A Fresno's offense in a blowout of Oklahoma City, going 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBIs. The 27-year-old third baseman connected on a two-out, three-run homer in the first inning and then added a two-run shot in the third, giving him four long balls in 36 games this season for the Grizzlies.

• Cardinals No. 12 prospect Jake Woodford paced Class A Peoria in a shutout of Kane County with eight scoreless innings of four-hit ball, striking out five without issuing a walk. Two of the hits allowed by the 19-year-old right-hander came after he returned for the ninth inning in an attempt to record his first career shutout. With his scoreless performance, Woodford has not allowed an earned run over his last three starts for the Chiefs, a stretch spanning 19 1/3 innings.
"I was able to throw all of my pitches for strikes. I didn't have to try to strike guys out," Woodford told MiLB.com. "I could just throw the ball over the plate and let the defense do their work."
• Cubs No. 10 prospect Eloy Jimenez hit his fifth home run in his last six games to extend his hitting streak to 11 games and power Class A South Bend past Great Lakes. The 19-year-old outfielder, whom the Cubs signed for $2.8 million in August 2013, is off to a terrific start in his first taste of full-season ball, hitting .335/.373/.549 with seven homers, 12 doubles and 27 RBIs through 41 games.

• Make that back-to-back scoreless seven-inning starts for Dodgers No. 17 prospect Chase De Jong, who paced Double-A Tulsa in a shutout of Frisco. After allowing two hits, walking one and striking out seven in his last turn for the Drillers, De Jong came back on Tuesday to once again yield just two knocks while piling up six strikeouts.

• Giants No. 10 prospect Adalberto Mejia turned in arguably his best start of the season for Double-A Richmond as he fired seven scoreless innings of four-hit ball in a win over Binghamton. The 22-year-old southpaw allowed four hits, struck out six and generated nine groundball outs to record his first win of 2016. He's worked at least seven innings in three straight starts for Richmond, during which he's pitched to a 0.82 ERA in 22 innings.

• Padres No. 11 prospect Michael Gettys went 3-for-4 with a triple and two stolen bases for Class A Fort Wayne in a loss to Lansing. The 2014 second-rounder has recorded a hit in eight straight contests and owns a .417 average over his last 10 for the TinCaps. Overall, Gettys, who is repeating the Class A level, is hitting .313/.381/.425 with 27 runs scored and 19 stolen bases.
• Phillies No. 13 prospect Zach Eflin struck out six hitters in seven scoreless innings for a second straight start for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He scattered four hits and walked one in the outing while throwing 67 of his 102 pitches for strikes. The 22-year-old righty is 5-0 with a 2.05 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 45/8 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 52 2/3 innings (eight starts) this season for the IronPigs.
