February 5th, 2021

In celebration of Black History Month, MLB Network is highlighting one player each week in February, starting with Hank Aaron.

The coverage kicked off with Bob Costas taking an in-depth look at the life and legacy of Aaron, who died on Jan. 22. The Hall of Famer finished his career with 755 home runs and an MLB-record 2,297 RBIs.

MLB Network's week of Aaron continued on Tuesday with an essay from Brian Kenny. Harold Reynolds provided a detailed breakdown on Hammerin' Hank on Wednesday and Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward finished off the week by sharing his thoughts on Aaron's career.

Coverage will continue throughout the month, with the focus shifting to Bob Gibson from Feb. 8-12, then Lou Brock from Feb. 15-19 and Joe Morgan from Feb. 22-26.
