MLB.com reporters break down their HOF ballots

January 6th, 2026

On Tuesday, Jan. 20, we will find out which former player or players have been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers' Association of America, joining former second baseman Jeff Kent -- who was elected by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee last month -- in the Class of 2026. The official announcement will be made live on MLB Network.
