How to watch and stream the World Baseball Classic Regensburg Qualifiers

The World Baseball Classic tournament may not begin until March 8, but four nations still need to punch their tickets. Dreams will be made and plenty of hearts will be broken at the upcoming qualifier tournaments in Regensburg (Sept. 16-21) and Panama City (Sept. 30-Oct. 5).

First up: the Regensburg Qualifier, where host nation Germany, Spain, Great Britain, South Africa, and France will vie for two places in the spring tournament. The first game between South Africa and Spain begins at 1:00 p.m. Central European Time / 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Here's the full schedule below. (Note: Times are subject to change.)

Friday, Sept. 16
Game 1: South Africa vs. Spain, 13:00 CEST / 7 a.m. ET
Game 2: Great Britain vs. France, 19:00 CEST / 1 p.m. ET

Saturday, Sept. 17
Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs. Czech Republic, 13:00 CEST / 7 a.m. ET
Game 4: Winner Game 2 vs. Germany, 19:00 CEST / 1 p.m. ET

Sunday, Sept. 18
Game 5: Loser Game 2 vs. Loser Game 3, 13:00 CEST / 7 a.m. ET
Game 6: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 4, 19:00 CEST / 1 p.m. ET

Tuesday, Sept. 20
Game 7: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6, 13:00 CEST / 7 a.m. ET
Game 8: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 19:00 CEST / 1 p.m. ET

Wednesday, Sept. 21
Game 9: Winner Game 7 vs. Loser Game 8, 19:00 CEST / 1 p.m. ET

How to stream:

If you can't be there in person, have no fear. Every second of the Qualifiers will be available to stream live and for free no matter where you're located on WorldBaseballClassic.com. In addition, you'll be able to watch on MLB.TV, MLB.com, the new World Baseball Classic YouTube channel, and the World Baseball Classic Facebook page. 

Streaming will likely follow a similar plan for the Panama City Qualifier, but check back soon when we'll have more information in detail.
