MIAMI - Baseball is almost here as the Miami Marlins season begins on Friday, March 27 at
7:10 p.m. vs. the Colorado Rockies. Opening Day is a can't-miss event and the Marlins today
announce a comprehensive transportation and parking plan to alleviate the travel to and
from loanDepot park.
On-site parking is limited and it is expected to SELL OUT soon. Fans can prepurchase
parking for Opening Day by visiting the Miami Marlins parking hub at Marlins.com/Parking.
Fans who pre-purchase parking for Opening Day, as well as any game during the 2026
season, will receive a $5 discount on the daily on-site parking rate.
Fans with prepaid parking are asked to have their parking passes handy and visible within the
MLB Ballpark App when approaching on-site parking facilities. Parking spaces are not pre-
assigned. Police and parking authorities will direct vehicles to the parking facility that best
supports traffic conditions. Although not guaranteed, attendees wishing to park in a specific
parking facility are encouraged to arrive early.
Parking facilities will open at 3:30 p.m. on Opening Day. Main gates will open at 5 p.m. Fans
wishing to catch Marlins' batting practice can enter loanDepot park through East Plaza Gate
11 and the Third Base Entrance beginning at 4:30 p.m. Fans should be in their seats by 6:30
p.m. for the pre-game Opening Day festivities.
loanDepot park is also providing a transportation option for fans who do not wish to drive
to the ballpark on Opening Day. Available for $15 per vehicle, fans can bypass gameday
traffic utilizing the Park & Ride service in Downtown Miami. Fans can park in the Hickman
Garage (270 NW 2nd St.) or West Lot Garage (220 NW 3rd St.) before jumping on a
complimentary shuttle to the ballpark.
The complimentary shuttles will run to and from the ballpark on Friday, March 27 from 3:00
p.m. to midnight, allowing fans to enjoy the dazzling post-game fireworks show. The
shuttles will drop off and pick up fans on the ballpark campus along NW 14th Avenue
allowing for a less-than one-block walk to the game.
