A trio of Indians prospects combined for a no-hitter Friday night in Class A Lake County's 4-0 victory over West Michigan.

Eli Lingos worked the first four innings, allowing no baserunners and striking out five. Luis Araujo worked the next two frames in order, whiffing two. Then Kellen Rholl finished things off in the seventh with an inning of work, allowing two baserunners (a hit by pitch and a walk) while striking out two. The game ended after seven innings as a part of a scheduled doubleheader. The Captains swept both of the games on Friday evening.

The no-hitter is the fifth in club history for the Cleveland affiliate, which started play in 2003. It’s also the second in a row against West Michigan, the last coming in April of 2018 in another seven-inning game.

Lingos, a 2018 Draft pick out of Arizona State, lowered his season ERA to 3.92 with his four solid innings. Araujo, signed in 2013 out of Venezuela, continued his strong season out of the bullpen, lowering his ERA to 1.17 over 15 appearances. He also earned the win in the contest, his first of 2019. Rholl, another 2018 draftee out of Angelo State in Texas, reduced his mark to 1.29 over 12 outings with 30 strikeouts in 21 innings.
