J.T. Realmuto is back in the lineup and behind the plate for the Phillies.
The club activated Realmuto off of the injured list on Saturday after the veteran catcher missed the requisite 10 days due to back spasms. He is in today’s starting lineup, batting seventh and catching against the Marlins.
Now in his 13th big league season, Realmuto is batting .259 with one home run and a .696 OPS through 17 games this season. The Phillies designated utility man Dylan Moore for assignment to open up a roster spot for Realmuto.
Moore was 0-for-12 with six strikeouts at the plate this season.
