It's been a stellar month for Marlins No. 24 prospectJeff Brigham. Pitching for Class A Advanced Jupiter, Brigham has yet to yield an earned run in July, lowering his ERA from 5.28 to 3.87 in just four starts (21 2/3 innings).
The 24-year-old righty turned in yet another impressive performance Thursday, tossing seven scoreless innings and striking out a season-best 10 batters. Brigham limited the Dunedin Blue Jays to four hits and one walk as the Hammerheads secured a 1-0 victory at Roger Dean Stadium.
"I think the confidence is high right now; he's attacking the hitters," Jupiter manager Randy Ready told MiLB.com. "Throwing strikes is the name of the game and his stuff had a lot of life on it with some late movement. He pitched outstanding."
The rest of the best performances from top prospects Thursday:
• Rangers top prospect Joey Gallo (No. 7 overall) helped propel Round Rock to a victory over Fresno with a 2-for-3 performance. Gallo homered, drew a walk and totaled three RBIs. He's now hit 17 home runs through 66 games at Triple-A this year.

• No. 80 overall prospect Hunter Renfroe (Padres' No. 4) stayed hot, homering for the fourth time in eight games for Triple-A El Paso. Renfroe went 2-for-4 with two runs scored as his club bested the Memphis Redbirds, 7-2. The 24-year-old outfielder is now batting .334 in the midst of his best professional season, and his 23 home runs are already a career-high.

• Braves No. 5 prospect Toukki Toussaint suffered his seventh loss as Lexington fell, 9-1, to Rome, but he established a new career high for strikeouts in just four innings of work. Toussaint yielded five runs (four earned), three hits (one homer) and four walks while striking out 11 batters. His previous career-high was nine, set on June 7.
• Rays No. 7 prospect Daniel Robertson helped his Triple-A Durham squad to an 8-4 victory over Scranton/Wilkes Barre with a strong offensive performance. He led the way by batting 3-for-4 with a home run -- his fourth of the year -- two RBIs and two runs scored. It's the fourth time this season that Robertson has collected three or more hits in a single game.
• For a second straight start, Chih-Wei Hu,  Tampa Bay's No. 12 prospect, did not surrender a run, tossing seven shutout frames -- matching his season-high for innings pitched -- for Double-A Montgomery. Hu gave up just two hits and a walk while striking out six batters vs. Birmingham, lowering his ERA to 2.20 for the Biscuits. The righty didn't get the win, however, as the Barons rallied in the ninth inning for a comeback victory.

• Phillies No. 19 prospect Rhys Hoskins hit his Minor League-leading 27th home run for Double-A Reading. The first baseman has homered in back-to-back games after going without a long ball for seven contests. He hit 2-for-4 with two RBIs as his Fightin' Phils fell, 9-5, to Hartford.

• Yankees No. 19 prospect Chance Adams continued to excel, tossing six innings of one-run ball and picking up the win as Double-A Trenton defeated New Hampshire. Adams surrendered just three hits and two walks and totaled five strikeouts. The right-hander improved to 5-0 and now owns a 2.03 ERA. Additionally, he's limited his opponents to one or no runs in each of his last five starts.
• Pirates No. 24 prospect Trevor Williams was dominant for the Indianapolis Indians, tossing eight scoreless frames as his squad notched a narrow 1-0 victory over Charlotte. Williams (6-4, 2.85 ERA) limited the Knights to just three hits and struck out five with no walks. The right-hander has allowed just one earned run over his three-game win streak, spanning 20 innings.

• Royals No. 24 prospect Anderson Miller snapped out of an 0-for-13 slump by homering in his first trip to the plate as his Wilmington Blue Rocks defeated the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 9-4. Miller drove in a season-high four runs and also contributed a triple, his second of the year. The 2-for-4 performance was his 13th multi-hit game of 2016.

• Yency Almonte, the Rockies' No. 28 prospect, bounced back from surrendering five runs in his last start to toss six shutout innings for Class A Advanced Modesto. Almonte allowed three hits and three walks and struck out eight batters.
• Just a few days after hitting his first professional home run, Nick Senzel -- the No. 2 overall selection by the Reds in last month's Draft -- collected his second, homering for Class-A Dayton. The 21-year-old third baseman is hitting .328 through 17 games with the Dragons.
