TORONTO -- Outfielder Jesús Sánchez exited Friday night’s game against the Rangers after making a catch and crashing into the wall in left field to end the top of the seventh inning.
Sánchez remained down for several seconds before eventually making his way onto his feet.
He began to jog to the dugout but slowed to a walk as trainer Jose Ministral came out to check on him.
It was unclear what Sánchez hurt on the play. He went straight down the tunnel upon arriving in the dugout.
Davis Schneider came in to pinch hit when Sánchez’s spot in the order came up in the bottom of the seventh.
