Down goes Soto! Nastiest K of the weekend had superstar stumbling

If you can get a swing like this from , you know you're nasty.

Pirates reliever is. The young lefty tied Soto up in knots on Sunday for the must-see strikeout of the season so far.

Montgomery brought Soto literally to his knees in the seventh inning of Pittsburgh's 10-inning, 4-3 win at Citi Field with a 100 mph fastball at the eyes, inducing maybe the most awkward swing you'll ever see from the Mets superstar.

Soto's futile attempt to put the bat on the ball with two strikes sent him first to one knee, then tumbling to the ground in the batter's box as the bat fell from his hands. The wicked whiff came in an absolutely massive moment, too, with runners on second and third and one out in a tie game.

The 25-year-old Montgomery, whom the Pirates got in a trade with the Rays in December, has one of the best fastballs in baseball: a triple-digit, rising lefty fastball that looks like Aroldis Chapman's.
