Make that 27 straight scoreless innings for Julio Urias.
The Dodgers' No. 1 prospect was brilliant once again on Friday night as he allowed three hits and struck out five in five scoreless frames to pace Triple-A Oklahoma City in a 1-0 win over Salt Lake. The left-hander generated four ground-ball outs and did not walk a batter, throwing 41 of his 64 pitches for strikes.
Urias also picked off a runner, giving him five pickoffs in his past four starts.

The fourth-year pro lowered his ERA to 1.10 with his fifth straight scoreless start (in seven turns) for Oklahoma City, and he owns a stellar 44/8 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 41 innings on the season. Opposing hitters, meanwhile, are batting just .176 against MLBPipeline.com's No. 2 overall prospect.
Urias has been rumored to be in the mix for a big league callup since May 7, when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts mentioned that the 19-year-old lefty was being considered as a potential solution for club's ongoing bullpen problems. Since then, Urias, seemingly unfazed by the possibility of a promotion, has rattled off three straight scoreless starts during which he's allowed a total of 10 hits in 17 innings.

Urias, who has been held to a strict limit early this season both in terms of innings and pitch count, likely would serve as the Dodgers' primary left-handed reliever should the team ultimately decide to utilize him in a bullpen role.
Adam Liberatore has been solid this season overall, with a 1.69 ERA in 10 2/3 innings, but he's scuffled over seven appearances in May, posting a 4.15 ERA with eight hits allowed in 4 1/3 frames. Meanwhile, J.P. Howell, the Dodgers' go-to southpaw in each of the past three seasons, has had problems getting late-inning outs in 2016, with a 7.84 ERA in 10 1/3 innings across 14 appearances.
