PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks completed a three-game sweep of the Giants on Wednesday afternoon with a 6-3 win, their fifth in their last six games.
Merrill Kelly, who threw his first career complete game in his last outing, turned in a quality performance, allowing three runs over six innings.
The Arizona offense continued its recent resurgence led by a red-hot Ketel Marte.
On Tuesday night, Marte delivered a three-run, walk-off homer, and in the finale he was 3-for-3 and also reached base on a walk. Marte doubled in the first inning, hit a two-run homer in the third and reached on a bunt single in what proved to be a decisive fifth inning.
The Diamondbacks broke open a 3-3 game in the fifth with a three-run outburst that included a two-run double by Geraldo Perdomo.
