CLEVELAND -- The first-pitch temperature at Progressive Field on Sunday was 79 degrees, which marked a season high for the ballpark. The only thing hotter may have been the Guardians’ bats.

The Guardians belted six home runs on Sunday en route to beating the Reds, 10-3, to secure the three-game series. It marked the most home runs Cleveland has hit since Aug. 15, 2019, against the Yankees (seven). It marked the franchise’s most at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario since April 30, 2013, against the Phillies (also seven).

Kyle Manzardo led the home run parade with a pair of blasts off Reds starter Brady Singer. It marked Manzardo’s third career multi-homer game. He also went deep twice on July 29 and Aug. 10, 2025.

Chase DeLauter got things started with a two-run shot off Singer in the first inning. It marked his first home run at Progressive Field since the Guardians’ home opener on April 3.

Manzardo went deep off Singer in the third and off reliever Brock Burke in the fifth. Brayan Rocchio sandwiched a solo blast in between, off Singer in the fourth inning.
