Berths to the International Championship game and United States Championship game were on the line during Day 8 of the Little League World Series.
In game No. 25, South Korea defeated Mexico, 7-0, slowing down a team that had won three games in a row. They will move on to face undefeated Panama for the right to make the Little League World Series Championship against the U.S. representative. Soon after the conclusion of the first contest, Tennessee took on Kentucky and would notch an 8-4 win, punctuated by a grand slam off the bat of third baseman Zach McWilliams. They will face New York in the US Championship game.
