LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers acquired left-handed pitcher Logan Salow from the Oakland Athletics for right-handed pitcher .

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said third baseman (left wrist fracture) is taking "dry swings," but didn't have much more of an update.

"I don't know when he's slated to take 'on-the-field' batting practice, but I know he has taken dry swings," Roberts said.

Meanwhile, Dodgers second baseman (right shoulder inflammation) is playing "light catch," according to Roberts, but still isn't "letting it go."

"For me, he has to be able to throw to bases and come back and throw at a high volume, and he's not there yet," Roberts said.

Forsythe said he will start a throwing program Friday. He experienced discomfort while throwing on April 23.

Roberts said when Forsythe is healthy, he expects the infielder to have a four-to-five game minimum rehab assignment.
