ST. LOUIS -- Brewers center fielder left Monday's 5-4, 10-inning win over the Cardinals at Busch Stadium in the top of the ninth after tripping over Cardinals first baseman while running out an infield single.
Both Cain and Martinez left the game under their own power. Brewers manager Craig Counsell said after the game that Cain's left quad was sore.
"I don't think it's that bad at all, actually," Counsell said. "He feels pretty good. He's adamant that he wants to play tomorrow. We'll see how it is."

Milwaukee, which entered the season with outfield depth that was the envy of the National League, could find itself in a bit of a tight spot. The Brewers are already down one outfielder, with landing on the disabled list a day earlier. was called up to take Yelich's roster spot.
If Cain were to miss any significant time, could take over for him in center, with Phillips and as other potential options.
