Verzuz is coming to the MLB All-Star Game

Two giants of the Latin music world will battle it out

July 15th, 2022

You've likely heard of Verzuz -- the super-popular livestream show that features battles between musicians like Omarion and Mario, Ludacris and Nelly, Fat Joe and Ja-Rule and The Lox and Dipset. The show even brought together the Isley Brothers and Earth, Wind and Fire to perform one of the greatest wedding reception songs ever recorded.

Well, lucky for baseball fans, the hit show will be heading to Los Angeles and saluting two icons in the Latin music producing game at this year's All-Star Game.

The show will feature reggaeton legends whose music helped to put the genre on the map. DJ Nelson, one of the pioneers who helped popularize reggaeton with songs like “Vengo Acabado” with Alberto Stylee and “La Curiosidad” with Jay Wheeler, will be facing off against Luny Tunes, the duo responsible for creating this massive Daddy Yankee hit, “Gasolina” and “Mayor Que Yo” with DY and Wisin & Yandel.

The producing heavyweights will be mixing live from MLB's All-Star House -- a poolside hub in the Hollywood Hills where celebrities, influencers and other stars will be hanging out all weekend long. The DJs will start up Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Viewers can also stream the show on Triller, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Verzuztv.com.

Who knows? You might even see some big leaguers getting down before they have to take the field a few days later.
