June 28th, 2018

SAN FRANCISCO -- Giants starter added to his long list of accomplishments by recording his 1,500th career strikeout in Wednesday night's 1-0 walk-off win over the Colorado Rockies at AT&T Park.
Bumgarner retired Rockies leadoff batter DJ LeMahieu on a called third strike to reach his latest milestone en route to a seven-inning, two-hit no-decision.
The four-time All-Star and 2014 postseason hero became the fourth-fastest left-hander to reach the 1,500 mark, doing so in his 239th game. Ahead of him are Hall of Famer Randy Johnson (206 games), Dodgers ace (218) and Boston's (236).
