Machado, Trumbo among ASG vote leaders

BALTIMORE -- Orioles star Manny Machado leads all American League third basemen, and has received the fourth-most votes (630,028) of any AL player, according to Major League Baseball's latest All-Star balloting totals released Monday.
The Orioles are well-represented on the 2016 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot with first baseman Chris Davis (387,876 votes) in third place as well as catcher Matt Wieters (303,500). Mark Trumbo (641,594) is third among AL outfielders.
Adam Jones (ninth) and Joey Rickard (14th) were also present on the list, which included the top five at each position and the top 15 outfielders.

Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on their computers, tablets and smartphones -- exclusively online using the 2016 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until Thursday, June 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Vote up to five times in any 24-hour period for a maximum of 35 times.
