
SEATTLE – Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today the Mariners have agreed to terms with RHP Bryce Miller on a 2026 contract with a club option for 2027.
The Mariners have now agreed to terms with all seven of their arbitration eligible players for the 2026 season: OF Randy Arozarena, RHP Matt Brash, RHP Logan Gilbert, RHP George Kirby, Miller, INF/OF Luke Raley and LHP Gabe Speier.
Miller, 27, made 18 regular season starts in 2025, going 4-6 with a 5.68 ERA (57 ER, 90.1 IP). He had two separate stints on the Injured List with right elbow inflammation: May 14-31 and June 10-August 19. Miller excelled in the Postseason, going 1-1 with a 2.51 ERA (4 ER, 14.1 IP).
Miller was outstanding during the 2024 season, when he went 12-8 with a 2.94 ERA (59 ER, 180.1 IP), 45 walks, 171 strikeouts and a 0.98 WHIP. He became the 4th Mariners pitcher (done 7x) to have a sub-3.00 ERA in a season (min. 162.0 IP), joining Félix Hernández (3x, 2009-10, 2014), Randy Johnson (2x, 1995, 1997) and Hisashi Iwakuma (2013). He has since been joined by teammate Bryan Woo, who had a 2.94 ERA in 2025.
Miller was originally selected by the Mariners in the 4th round of the 2021 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Texas A&M University. He made his MLB debut on May 2, 2023 at Oakland, setting the Mariners record for most strikeouts in a Major League debut with 10. He has appeared in parts of 3 Major League seasons (2023-c), going 24-21 with a 4.01 ERA (179 ER, 402.0 IP), 105 walks and 364 strikeouts. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-hander was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
