
SEATTLE – Seattle Mariners Director of Player Development Justin Toole announced today the following Mariners Minor League Award winners for the month of April:
- Luke Stevenson, C, Hitter of the Month
- Kade Anderson, LHP, Pitcher of the Month
- Brock Moore, RHP, Reliever of the Month
- Blake Rambusch, INF/OF, Baserunner of the Month
- Nick Raposo, C, Defensive Player of the Month
Stevenson, 21, opened the season hitting .321 (18x56) with 16 runs, 6 doubles, 1 home run, 10 RBI, 20 walks and 1 stolen base for a .500 on-base percentage, .482 slugging percentage and .982 OPS across 17 games in April with High-A Everett.
The left-handed hitting, right-handed throwing catcher has reached base safely in all 17 High-A games so far this season, recording 5 multi-hit games and 4 games with multiple walks. He also drew a career-high 4 walks twice this season on April 10 and 26. Stevenson leads the Northwest League and is tied for 3rd in all of High-A among qualified batters in on-base percentage (.500). He also leads the NWL in batting average (.321), is 2nd in OPS (.982) and total walks (20) and T-4th in both runs scored (16) and doubles (4).
The Mariners No. 8 prospect (MLB Pipeline) was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 1st round (35th overall) of the 2025 MLB First-Year Player Draft after playing two seasons at the University of North Carolina. Following the Draft, he reported to Class-A Modesto, finishing the year with a .280 batting average (21x75),16 runs, 4 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 14 RBI, 23 walks, and a stolen base for a .460 on-base percentage across his first 22 professional games. Stevenson was invited to the Mariners 2026 Spring Training in Peoria and appeared in 4 games.

Anderson, 21, went 1-0 with a 0.48 ERA (1 ER, 18.2 IP) and 30 strikeouts to just 4 walks across his first 4 starts with Double-A Arkansas. He also owns a 0.70 WHIP and is limiting batters to a .143 batting average to start his professional career.
In the 2nd start of his professional career on April 10, the left-hander struck out 11 batters and didn’t allow a hit across 5.0 innings of work. He also threw 11 consecutive scoreless innings to open the season before allowing his lone run on April 17 in his 3rd start.
Anderson was selected by the Mariners with the third overall pick of the 2025 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Louisiana State University, the team’s highest draft selection since 2012. Across two seasons with the Tigers (2024-25), he went 16-3 with a 3.38 ERA (59 ER, 157.1 IP) and 239 strikeouts to 55 walks, helping the team to a National Championship in 2025. He was also named 2025 College World Series Most Outstanding Player.
The 2025 Baseball America National Player of the Year did not appear in a game in 2025 and entered 2026 ranked as the Mariners No. 2 prospect (No. 1 pitching prospect) and MLB’s 17th overall prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.

Moore, 25, owns a 2.16 ERA (2 ER, 8.1 IP) with 4 saves and 20 strikeouts to just 1 walk allowed across 7 relief appearances this season with High-A Everett. He also owns a 0.48 WHIP while limiting batters to a .111 batting average (3x27).
The right-hander has significantly increased his strikeout-to-walk ratio to 20.0 (20 SO, 1 BB) this season. He finished 2025 with a 0.93 strikeout-to-walk ratio (26 SO, 28 BB) after he was limited to just 25 appearances with Everett due to injury. He also threw a career-high 6 strikeouts across 2.0 innings of work in his 2nd appearance of the season on April 8, surpassing his previous career-high 3 strikeouts (done 3x prior).
Moore was originally selected by Seattle in the 7th round (213 overall) of the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Oregon.

Rambusch, 26, went 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts in 14 games with Double-A Arkansas in April, recording multiple stolen bags in 3 games. The infielder/outfielder also hit .300 (15x50) with 8 runs, 1 double, 7 RBI and a pair of walks during the month. He was drafted by Seattle in the 15th round of the 2022 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Auburn University (AL) and has 99 stolen bases in 284 career minor league contests, including a career-high 34 stolen bases last season with Double-A Arkansas.

Raposo, 27, recorded 8 caught stealing in 15 games (14 starts) at catcher with Double-A Arkansas in April. He had a .994 fielding percentage during the month. The Mariners claimed Raposo off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on Dec. 19, 2024. The right-handed catcher has recorded 74 caught stealing in 267 games (250 starts) at catcher since 2021, including a career-high 31 caught stealing last season with Arkansas.
