May 19, 2019, vs. Mets
Pace of play was not an issue, as Sandy Alcantara tossed a two-hit shutout. He threw one of the most efficient games in club history, needing just 89 pitches (55 strikes). Alcantara fanned eight in a game that lasted one hour and 59 minutes.

March 30, 2018, vs. Cubs 
For those who stuck around, it was worth the wait. Miguel Rojas' two-out walk-off single in the 17th inning gave the Marlins a 2-1 win in five hours and 18 minutes. The 17 innings are the longest in Marlins Park history, and the win was the first for the ownership group led by Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter.

May 23, 2019, at Tigers
Down by two entering the inning, Garrett Cooper capped a five-run ninth with a two-out grand slam off Shane Greene, lifting Miami to a 5-2 win. Cooper became the hero after longtime Tiger Curtis Granderson was intentionally walked in his final plate appearance at Detroit.

Aug. 23, 2019, vs. Phillies
Down by seven runs early, the Marlins tied it with seven of their own in the third inning. They kept on going, winning a 19-11 slugfest. But it was a painful victory, as Brian Anderson was struck by a pitch and broke his left hand, ending his season.

July 8, 2018, at Nationals
The Marlins ended a 14-game losing streak to the Nationals in a big way. Miami collected 22 hits -- with J.T. Realmuto tallying five -- in a 10-2 win. That same day, Realmuto was added to the National League All-Star team for the first time.

Aug. 10, 2019, vs. Braves
The Braves had won 11 of the first 14 in the season series with Miami, and it appeared they were on their way to win No. 12. Trailing 6-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth, the Marlins rallied with four runs in the ninth and won it in the 10th on Martín Prado’s walk-off sacrifice fly.

April 25, 2018, at Dodgers
During his career with the Dodgers, Miguel Rojas made a terrific defensive play to help preserve Clayton Kershaw’s no-hitter in 2014. But on this day, Rojas connected on a three-run homer against Kershaw that clanked off the left-field foul pole at Dodger Stadium. J.T. Realmuto added two home runs and Trevor Richards struck out 10 in 4 2/3 innings.

June 4, 2019, at Brewers
The Marlins set a franchise record with 11 runs in the fifth inning, providing Pablo López with plenty of run support in a 16-0 rout. López even produced an RBI double in the fifth. The Marlins were the first team to have all nine batters record an RBI in a frame since the Giants on July 15, 1997, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Sept. 21, 2018, vs. Reds
Left-hander Wei-Yin Chen threw a gem, striking out eight and walking none in seven shutout innings. He was especially good at Marlins Park, posting a 1.62 ERA in 78 innings that year. But Chen wasn’t lined up for the win because of a pitchers' duel with former Marlins prospect Luis Castillo, who didn’t allow a run in 8 1/3 innings. The Marlins won it, 1-0, in the 10th on Isaac Galloway’s walk-off double.

Aug. 24, 2018, vs. Braves
On the first day of Players' Weekend, Dan Straily (nicknamed "Thunder") threw six strong innings, as the Marlins combined on a three-hitter in a 1-0 win. The victory snapped a seven-game slide against Atlanta. Derek Dietrich ("Dietz") provided the game-winning hit with an RBI single in the fourth.

Aug. 17, 2019: Brewers 15, Nationals 14
Christian Yelich homered -- No. 40 -- as part of a three-homer, four-run ninth inning for a 12-11 Brewers lead, only to see the Nationals come back to tie it up against Josh Hader. Yelich homered again in the 13th for a 13-12 lead, only to see the Nats come back again. Finally, in the 14th, the Brewers scored twice and this time held off another Nats surge.

June 27, 2019: Dodgers 12, Rockies 8
The Dodgers overcame a shaky Coors Field start from Walker Buehler (seven runs) with a six-homer onslaught -- two by Max Muncy -- for their 12th consecutive win over Colorado.

July 25, 2019: Orioles 10, Angels 8
The Orioles and Angels had been engaged in a marathon, 6-hour, 16-inning, back-and-forth affair when things went from simply weird to historic. That's because of who closed the game -- outfielder Stevie Wilkerson, who recorded a 1-2-3 bottom of the 16th throwing nothing but mid-50 mph floaters to record the first save by a position player in MLB history.

July 12, 2019: Rangers 9, Astros 8
The Rangers scored five runs in the last three innings to erase the Astros' 8-4 lead. The Rangers hit five home runs in this game, including three off Astros starter Gerrit Cole.

June 23, 2019: Pirates 11, Padres 10
Former manager Clint Hurdle called this “one of the best wins that I’ve watched in nine years here,” and it was a wild one. Down three in the ninth against a closer who hadn’t blown a save all season, the Pirates rallied to force extra innings. Down three again in the 11th, they battled back -- and then all of a sudden rookie shortstop Kevin Newman was at the plate, working a walk-off walk to cap the Bucs’ fourth straight win.
