After passing Robinson, Ichiro steals 500th
MILWAUKEE -- Marlins outfielder Ichiro Suzuki became the only active player with 500 career stolen bases by swiping second base in the first inning of Friday night's 6-3 win over the Brewers.
Suzuki singled to lead off the game against Brewers starter Zach Davies. It was the 2,944th hit of his career, moving him past Frank Robinson for 33rd on the all-time hits list.

The 42-year-old is the eighth player in Major League history with at least 2,900 hits and 500 stolen bases, joining Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Paul Molitor, Eddie Collins, Rickey Henderson, Lou Brock and Barry Bonds.
