Braves minor-league infielder Ozzie Albies, who is on Double-A Mississippi's roster, has been diagnosed with a right elbow olecranon fracture. The elbow was placed in a fiberglass splint yesterday, September 8, and surgery to fixate the fracture is planned for next week. Albies will begin rehabilitation immediately following his procedure, and is expected to resume baseball activities following the first of the year.
