Those numbers have helped the White Sox left fielder remain as the lone representative of the team in the Top 5 of position players and Top 15 in the outfield during the latest round of American League All-Star voting, released on Monday. Cabrera stands at 14th out of 15 outfielders listed, with 518,476 votes. He trails the leading three outfielders of Mike Trout at 2,972,582, Jackie Bradley Jr. at 2,184,884 and Mookie Betts at 1,915,637.

Cabrera has three multihit games over his past five, going 11-for-23 with two homers, six RBIs and four runs scored. For the season, Cabrera is hitting .297 with eight homers, 39 RBIs and an .815 OPS. Chris Sale, who improved to 13-2 with eight stellar innings Sunday against the Blue Jays, not only is in line for his fifth straight All-Star appearance, but could emerge as the AL's starting hurler.
