The Mets and Jeurys Familia, the club's last arbitration-eligible player, have settled on a contract for the upcoming season. MLB Network's Jon Heyman reported the deal is for $4.1 million.
Familia took over as the Mets closer in 2015 and converted 43 of 48 save opportunities, posting a 1.85 ERA in 76 appearances.
The 26-year-old right-hander recorded five saves during the Mets' memorable postseason run, but he blew three opportunities in the World Series.
Familia signed with the Mets as an amateur in 2007 and has been with the organization ever since. He made his debut in 2012 and has a career 2.42 ERA over 169 appearances.
