Henderson gets MRI; no concern for Matz's elbow

NEW YORK -- The Mets do not believe there are any concerns regarding the elbow tightness that left-hander Steven Matz dealt with during his start against the Braves on Saturday.
"He didn't seem too concerned about it," Mets manager Terry Collins said. "He was warming up and it was a little tight. He loosened up and when I told him he was done, he told me his elbow was a little tight anyway."
After exiting with 99 pitches, Matz was relieved by Jim Henderson, who later left the game with a shoulder impingement. The right-handed reliever underwent an MRI on Sunday and is considered day to day.
