Mets right-hander Matt Harvey returns to the mound for the first time during the regular season since July 4, 2016, and the Rockies' Antonio Senzatela and the Reds' Rookie Davis make their Major League debuts as part of a 13-game slate today.
It was a lengthy recovery for Harvey, who struggled to a 4-10 record and 4.86 ERA in 17 starts last year before his season was cut short after being diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome. He'll square off against the Braves in his return to the hill.
Senzatela, the Rockies' No. 9 overall prospect per MLBPipeline.com, and Davis, the Reds' No. 17 overall prospect both get the ball in the big leagues for the first time, live on MLB.TV.

Harvey's homecoming: ATL@NYM, 7:10 p.m.
Harvey spent much of last season battling numbness, coldness and a lack of sensation in his throwing arm before undergoing surgery to remove one of his ribs.
The 28-year-old had a tough spring statistically as he worked out the kinks, going 0-4 with a 5.89 ERA in five exhibition starts. But Harvey hit 97 mph on the radar gun in his final Spring Training tuneup on March 27, a promising sign for the former National League All-Star.
"The numbers early in spring -- and still -- don't really explain how I feel about moving forward," Harvey said. "I couldn't be happier where I am now and moving forward. I feel I'm ready for a good season."
Harvey hasn't beaten Atlanta since April 22, 2016, something he will look to change when he opposes new Braves' starter Jaime Garcia on Thursday evening.
Senzatela's first career start: COL@MIL, 1:40 p.m.
Senzatela has had a ton of success in the Minor Leagues since he signed as a free agent with the Rockies in 2011. The young righty has worked his way up through Colorado's farm system, going 41-19 with a 2.45 ERA in 88 games (87 starts) while advancing from rookie ball to Double-A.
Senzatela dealt with shoulder inflammation while with Double-A Hartford in 2016, but in seven starts while healthy he went 4-1 with a 1.82 ERA.
"He's got a nice self-assuredness to him that I think will play as he moves forward," Rockies manager Bud Black said. "He's very confident in his pitching. He pitches aggressively with his fastball. He doesn't back down."
The Valencia, Venezuela, native will look to keep the Brewers in check his first time out.
