ATLANTA -- Michael Harris II’s latest bout with lower back tightness forced the Braves to remove him from the lineup after the first inning of Tuesday night’s game against the Giants at Truist Park.
Harris departed after he singled and scored from second base on a Mauricio Dubón single. The Braves center fielder felt lower back discomfort near the end of a June 5 game against the Pirates. He was left out of the lineup the next two days, but delivered a game-winning pinch-hit double on June 7.
Dubón replaced Harris in center field on Tuesday and made a run-saving diving catch during the second inning.
