PHOENIX -- Mike Trout, Kole Calhoun and C.J. Cron are among the group heading to Salt Lake City, Utah, for Tuesday's exhibition game at the home of the Angels' Triple-A affiliate.

Game-time temperatures are projected to be around 47 degrees, with a 35-to-40 percent chance of precipitation and winds traveling about 15 mph leading up to the 4 p.m. MT first pitch, so it remains to be seen whether the trio will actually play.

Pitchers Garrett Richards, Tyler Skaggs, Mike Morin and Cam Bedrosian -- all of whom have spent time at Triple-A Salt Lake -- will also be in attendance, but will not take the mound. The Angels are sending a roster of 55 players to make up both teams, with the rest of the club's Major Leaguers playing a 1:10 p.m. PT game against the A's at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

The game, held at Smith's Ballpark, will mark the first meeting between the two clubs since the Bees became an official Angels affiliate in 2001. Salt Lake was also the Angels' Triple-A affiliate from 1971-81 -- they were known as the Salt Lake Gulls and the Salt Lake Angels at that time -- and the two clubs faced each other three times in that span.

The current Bees are the longest-tenured Angels Triple-A affiliate in franchise history, helping to produce fixtures like Trout, Jered Weaver, Erick Aybar, Chone Figgins, Jose Molina and John Lackey.

Catcher Taylor Ward (ranked first in the Angels' system by MLBPipeline.com), outfielder Jahmai Jones (second), third basemen Kaleb Cowart (fifth) and Kyle Kubitza (seventh), outfielder Chad Hinshaw (ninth), and shortstops David Fletcher (10th) and Roberto Baldoquin (11th) will also be on hand, as will manager Mike Scioscia.
