Before suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb, Trout recorded a 1.203 OPS with 16 home runs, 36 RBIs and 10 stolen bases in 47 games. Trout's availability for the Midsummer Classic remains unclear, as he was projected to miss six to eight weeks while recovering from the injury. Still, he began hitting off a tee over the weekend and has said he believes a return before the All-Star break is possible.
