MLB and Mitel announced Monday afternoon that the 2019 London Series will include several free, family-friendly events and activities in London during the week.

The activities for the week will include a baseball cultural festival called “London Yards" that will feature baseball virtual reality interactives, shops and food specialties from both New York and Boston.

The festival will take place from June 28-30 at Truman Brewery.

There will also be a series of youth baseball and softball events focused on the development and growth of amateur players in the United Kingdom and Europe, which will take place at "Play Ball Park" at London Stadium.

Play Ball Park will include a temporary baseball/softball diamond, pitching tunnels, batting cages and baseball virtual reality portals.

The Red Sox and Yankees will face off in the inaugural London Series on June 29 and 30.
