Play ball! MLB The Show 22 available now

April 5th, 2022

Opening Day comes later this week, but you don’t have to wait to get your game on. MLB The Show 22 is out now.

This year’s game, which features Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani on the cover, is available on three consoles: PlayStation, Xbox and, for the first time ever, Nintendo Switch. And with new cross-platform capabilities, the long-running video game franchise is more accessible than ever.

MLB The Show 22’s cross-play, cross-progression and cross-save features allow you to play with friends, earn content, save your progress and pick up where you left off on any compatible console, so long as you have a proper internet connection.

Once again, the developers at San Diego Studio have found new ways to make the game a more authentic and immersive baseball experience, from the more than 150 playable legends to the new commentary team -- play-by-play announcer Jon “Boog” Sciambi and color commentator Chris Singleton contributed 350 hours and approximately 45,000 lines of dialogue -- to the Nike City Connect uniforms.

You can play MLB the Show 22 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch today.
