Sanchez has appeared in 24 games with Washington this season and posted a .680 OPS while playing second base, shortstop and third base, although he has not appeared in a game in the Majors since he took a fastball off his chest on Aug. 26.
He spent the next night in the hospital for testing, but was discharged the next morning with no issues. Sanchez has been playing games in the Minors since he was sent back to Triple-A and Baker says there are no lingering concerns.
• Right-hander Koda Glover is back home in Oklahoma after receiving a second opinion on his right shoulder in Texas last week. Glover has been sidelined since July with inflammation in his right rotator cuff and will almost certainly not pitch again this season, but Baker wants him to rejoin the team in Washington soon to be in the clubhouse for the stretch run and into the postseason.
