Nationals unveil 2018 promotional schedule

The Washington Nationals released their promotional schedule for the upcoming season, introducing a number of intriguing bobblehead giveaways, theme nights and special-ticket events sure to have fans excited for baseball in the nation's capital in 2018.
The collectible giveaway items are highlighted by bobbleheads of Nationals stars Max Scherzer (May 4), (July 6), (Aug. 3), (June 8) and (April 13). The club is also planning to present to fans a Game of Thrones figurine on Aug. 18 and an Oktoberfest Beer Stein on Sept. 21, in conjunction with the respective theme nights for those contests.

New for 2018 is a Hawaiian shirt presented by MASN on Aug. 17 in addition to a trucker cap presented by Budweiser on Aug. 31 to be given to the first 15,000 fans at the gates that evening.
The club will also have new children's giveaway items, including a fidget spinner presented by the Potomac Nationals on April 29, a superhero cape on May 20, a Max Scherzer eye patch on June 24, a batting helmet on July 22, a night light on Aug. 19 and a pajama set on Sept. 2.
The Nationals also announced they will give the first 25,000 fans at Nationals Park on Opening Day (April 5) a 2018 schedule T-shirt presented by GEICO.
"This season we have exciting offerings for fans of all ages and interests," Nationals chief revenue and marketing officer Valerie Camillo said. "From our expanded giveaway lineup for our younger fans -- featuring a kids giveaway each month of the season -- to more local College Days, Theme Nights and special-ticket events, the 2018 season has something for every Nats fan."
