NFL's O.J. Howard catches foul ball at ALDS

October 9th, 2019

With hands like those, he could play on Sundays. Wait -- he does!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard made a tremendous catch on Austin Meadows' foul ball in the eighth inning of the Rays' 4-1 win over the Astros in Game 4 of the American League Division Series.

The left-handed-hitting Meadows roped a 2-2 offering from Astros reliever Will Harris down the right-field line. It sliced foul and landed in Howard's bare left hand.

The Offensive MVP of Alabama's victory over Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, Howard was drafted 19th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by Tampa Bay. In 29 career NFL games, he has caught 71 passes -- and now one foul ball.
