"Like I told you guys before, I've been feeling pretty good," Mazara said. "Just trying to look for a pitch early in the count and put a good swing on it."

Mazara, who also had a second-inning double, is now 6-for-18 with four home runs and nine RBIs in his last four games, and has hit .286 with six home runs, 21 RBIs and a .614 slugging percentage in his last 17 games.

"I talked to [assistant hitting coach Justin Mashore], and this is one of the best times I've felt, hitting," Mazara said. "I don't feel like my bat is jumping or anything like that. I'm really just using my hands, and like I said, I just go out there, and if they throw me a good pitch early, I try to put the ball in play."

Mazara is the first Rangers player to hit a home run in four straight games since Mike Napoli on July 1-4 last season. The club record is seven straight by Kevin Mench in 2006.

The Rangers as a team have homered in a season-high eight straight games.
