BALTIMORE -- The Orioles found familiar Camden Yards the remedy for their offensive woes Thursday night, as Manny Machado hit a grand slam and Baltimore snapped the White Sox six-game winning streak with a 10-2 victory.
After scoring five runs in their previous four games -- all on the road -- the Orioles collected 15 hits. Chris Davis and Mark Trumbo blasted back-to-back home runs in the third inning, when Baltimore took the lead for good against losing pitcher John Danks (0-4).
"You had to square one up to get it out tonight," Orioles manager Buck Showalter said of the blustery conditions. "Lot of good at-bats, lot of good approaches."
Each of the first eight hitters in the O's lineup had at least one hit, with Joey Rickard, Adam Jones, J.J. Hardy, Nolan Reimold, Machado and Davis picking up two apiece.

In suffering its most decisive loss this season, Chicago had 10 hits and plenty of chances to score, but stranded nine runners in the last five innings against Baltimore relievers Mychal Givens (2-0), who got the win, Dylan Bundy and T.J. McFarland.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Quick hook: Orioles starter Tyler Wilson surrendered only four hits and one walk in 4 2/3 innings. But he was replaced after he hit Adam Eaton with a pitch and gave up a single to Jimmy Rollins on his 91st pitch of the night. Wilson, who began the year in the bullpen, threw 70 pitches in his first start of the season Saturday, a win over Kansas City.
"I obviously wanted to go a little deeper in the game than I did -- just for the sake of going deep into the game and saving the bullpen," Wilson said. "Physically, I feel strong going out there every fifth day. I'm excited to take the ball in whatever capacity that is."
Breaking out: Machado entered the game in an 0-for-17 skid. But he snapped it with an RBI double in the third inning. His grand slam, on the first pitch he saw from reliever Jake Petricka, gave him a career-high five RBIs. Jones' first-inning RBI double came after he entered the game with a .196 average and had been dropped to fifth in the lineup. "I was just going up there being aggressive," Machado said. "I was trying to inflict some damage there and he left the pitch up."
Win some, lose some:Todd Frazier got the White Sox on the board in the first inning by crushing his sixth home run of the season to deep left field, giving Chicago a 2-0 lead. Frazier had another golden opportunity to drive in more runs in the fifth, when the Sox loaded the bases and chased Wilson from the game while trailing 5-2. But Frazier struck out against Givens to end the threat. The Sox left 11 runners on base and were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position.

"We gave ourselves a shot," Rollins said. "It just didn't happen tonight."
End of the line? Danks has been the one outlier in a solid White Sox rotation, as he now has been hit hard in three of his four starts and sports an unsightly 7.25 ERA. The veteran left-hander is winless in his last eight starts dating back to September of last season and continues to struggle early in the season, falling to 1-6 in April over the last two years and 12-20 in his career. WHAT'S NEXT
White Sox: Left-hander Carlos Rodon takes the hill in Friday's 6:05 p.m. CT contest, and it will be imperative for him to get off to a quick start against a strong Orioles offense. Two starts ago, Rodon lasted just one-third of an inning while giving up five runs to the Angels.
Orioles: Right-hander Mike Wright gets the start against the White Sox at 7:05 p.m. ET on Friday at Oriole Park, and he may need to pitch well to hold his slot in the rotation. After allowing no earned runs in his first two Major League starts last season, Wright has had only one quality start in his last 10 and has pitched into the seventh inning just once.
