O's-Nats Thursday game postponed by rain

Clubs set makeup date for June 8 at 7:05 p.m. ET

WASHINGTON -- The Orioles' game with the Nationals on Thursday was postponed due to inclement weather, with the game to be made up on Thursday, June 8, at 7:05 p.m. ET.
It marks the first rainout of the season for the O's, with the news coming down at approximately 7:15. All tickets for Thursday's game will be honored at the rescheduled game on June 8. The Orioles, who have won two of the first three games in the Beltways Series, will now head to Kansas City for a three-game set against the Royals that begins Friday.
, who was supposed to start Thursday vs. the Nationals, will now start Friday against the Royals as the Orioles pushed everyone in their rotation back a day.
Baltimore is 27-14 at home against the Nats and 17-20 in Washington. The two clubs had just two mutual off-days -- this coming Monday and June 8.
