Team to watch
Orioles fans have the benefit of having all of their affiliates in the same general region as the big league club, so they can visit any of them. If you’re going to pick one, start with High-A Frederick, home to eight of the Top 30. It’s a group led by the Orioles’ one current Top 100 player in Nate George and includes three of the top five and five of the top 12. It’s also a great spot to see a bunch of the 2025 Draft class: Ike Irish (first round), Wehiwa Aloy (compensation pick), Joseph Dzierwa (second round), JT Quinn (Competitive Balance Round B) and Colin Yeaman (fourth round) are all starting things off with the Keys.

Players we could see in MLB in 2026
The top two prospects to start the season, Samuel Basallo and Dylan Beavers, made the Opening Day roster and recently graduated off this list. They could be joined in the lineup at some point by speedster Enrique Bradfield Jr., but it’s the stable of arms building in Norfolk that could have a greater impact. Trey Gibson, Nestor German and Levi Wells, all from the Draft class of 2023 (Gibson was a nondrafted free agent that summer), are getting their innings in and waiting to help out the big league staff for the first time.

New faces
Two intriguing arms from the 2025 Draft class on this list have yet to make their official pro debuts, though second-rounder Dzierwa certainly created a buzz by striking out a Spring Breakout record eight hitters over three innings during the O’s prospect exhibition against the Red Sox. The Michigan State product will officially begin his career with High-A Frederick, as will Quinn, the Orioles’ Competitive Balance Round B pick out of Georgia. The Orioles signed five of MLB Pipeline’s Top 50 international prospects in January and two -- shortstop Jose Luis Acevedo and lefty Andri Hidalgo -- made the Top 30 and are waiting to kick things off in the Dominican Summer League.

On the shelf
Both Braxton Bragg and Patrick Reilly are expected to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 season as they rehab from Tommy John surgery. Juaron Watts-Brown, who came to the Orioles at last year’s Trade Deadline in the Seranthony Domínguez trade with the Blue Jays, is working through a shoulder issue, while a hamstring problem is keeping Stiven Martinez off the field for the time being.
