BOSTON -- With rain starting at 9 a.m. ET and forecasted to go deep into the night, the Orioles-Red Sox game was postponed on Tuesday afternoon.
The postponement, the second at Fenway Park between these two clubs this season, will be made up on Wednesday as the first game of a doubleheader. The day-night twin bill will start at 1:05 p.m., with Game 2 slated for its original 7:10 p.m. start.
Ryan Meisinger will start Game 1. With Yefry Ramirez dealing with a right thumb issue, Baltimore, which has scrambled for starters this final month, had yet to announce a Wednesday night starter.
